Vietnam's textile and garment exports are estimated to reach 46 billion U.S. dollars in 2025, up 5.6 percent from 2024, local daily Voice of Vietnam reported Wednesday.
Vu Duc Giang, chairman of the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association, said the industry targets 64.5 billion dollars in exports by 2030, with annual growth projected at 6.5 to 7 percent.
He said the sector is shifting toward greener production and digitalization, aiming to raise the localization rate to over 60 percent and build strong Vietnamese fashion brands.
