Vietnam's 10-month cashew nut export reaches nearly 4.3 bln USD

Vietnam shipped nearly 4.3 billion U.S. dollars worth of cashew nuts abroad in the first ten months of the year, marking a 19.4 percent increase compared with the same period in 2024, local daily Baodautu reported Monday.

Citing the Department of Vietnam Customs, the report said the country sold 628,000 tons of cashew nuts during the ten-month span, a year-on-year rise of 2.8 percent.

China emerged as the leading buyer, spending more than 910 million dollars on this Vietnamese agricultural product, a 53.7 percent surge year on year.

The average export price of Vietnamese cashew nuts reached 6,811 dollars per ton during the ten-month period, up 16.2 percent from the same period last year.
