Vietnam's total seafood export value was estimated at 9.31 billion U.S. dollars in the first 10 months of this year, up 12.9 percent year-on-year, local newspaper VnEconomy reported Monday.
China, the United States and Japan remained Vietnam's three largest seafood export markets during the period, accounting for 20 percent, 17.4 percent and 15.1 percent of the total export value, respectively, according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment.
The Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers forecast that in the fourth quarter of 2025, the country's seafood exports will drop sharply to about 2.19 billion dollars, down over 22 percent compared to the same period last year.
For the full year, Vietnam's seafood export value is projected to reach around 10.5 billion dollars, according to the association.
