More than 1.16 million students across Vietnam sat their high school graduation exams on Thursday, compared with over 1.06 million last year, Vietnam News Agency reported, citing the Ministry of Education and Training.
This year, the exam consists of four subjects including mathematics, literature as compulsory, along with two electives selected from a range of options such as foreign language, history, physics, chemistry, biology, geography, economic and legal education, informatics, and technology in one and a half days, Vietnam News Agency reported.
The number of examination sites this year reaches 2,500, while a total of 200,000 staff have been mobilized to organize and invigilate the exams, according to the report.
