Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has directed relevant ministries and local authorities to intensify efforts to promote both domestic and international trade, Vietnam News Agency reported on Thursday.

The directive aims to bolster exports, increase the market share of Vietnamese goods in traditional markets and in countries that have signed free trade agreements or comprehensive economic partnerships with Vietnam.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been tasked to facilitate the negotiation and signing of market access agreements for Vietnamese products, while also working to broaden Vietnam's bilateral and multilateral trade commitments.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Industry and Trade have been assigned to assess the feasibility of establishing new trade promotion offices in key markets.

The initiative is intended to expand Vietnam's overseas trade promotion network and strengthen support for Vietnamese enterprises operating abroad, the prime minister said.
