Officials from Laos and Thailand have gathered for a technical economic seminar to strengthen trade cooperation and promote local products in international markets, Lao media reported on Tuesday.
The seminar, titled "Strengthening Local Products in International Markets," was held on Monday in southern Laos' Champasak province, bringing together business leaders and experts from Laos and Thailand, Lao Economic Daily reported.
The seminar focused on promoting agricultural production through cooperatives and showcased best practices and innovative ideas for developing local products and services.
Speaking at the event, Lao Minister of Industry and Commerce Malaithong Kommasith emphasized that the seminar plays a crucial role in strengthening the long-standing friendship between Laos and Thailand, while also enhancing economic and trade cooperation.
