Media activity showcases Lancang-Mekong water resources cooperation

A joint interview activity on water resources cooperation attended by reporters of media organizations from the Lancang-Mekong countries was carried out in Kunming, the capital of southwest China's Yunnan province, from Sept. 20 to 23, 2022.

The purpose of the activity was to enhance understanding and mutual trust among the media outlets, promote exchange and communication between the Lancang-Mekong countries, and showcase the achievements of Lancang-Mekong water resources cooperation to the world.

The reporters visited the Kunming Baicaoyuan water and soil conservation science and technology demonstration park, the Yunnan irrigation test center, the Nuozhadu hydropower station, the Nuozhadu fish breeding station, a rare plant garden, a rare animal rescue station, the Pu'er Taiyanghe National Forest Park, and the Pu'er urban and rural water supply pilot project.
