LMC Health Forum held in Nanjing

The LMC Health Forum & Jiangsu LMC Day was held at Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine (NJUCM) in Nanjing, capital city of Jiangsu province, on Dec. 17. 

Under the theme of "LMC Cooperation on Traditional Medicine in the Post Epidemic Era," the forum was held to implement the outcomes of the Sixth Lancang-Mekong Cooperation (LMC) Foreign Ministers' Meeting. 

Pasupha Chinvarasopak, minister counselor of education and science of the Royal Thai Embassy in Beijing, Bao Guangliang, second-level inspector of Foreign Affairs Office of Jiangsu Provincial People's Government, and Sun Zhiguang, vice president of the NJUCM, together with representatives of Singapore and Malaysian alumni associations, and students majoring in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) from a joint program between Rangsit University in Thailand and NJUCM, attended the forum.

The forum, which was held both online and in-person, was co-sponsored by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education and the Foreign Affairs Office of Jiangsu Provincial People's Government and organized by the NJUCM.

In addition to TCM-themed seminars and lectures, an unveiling ceremony of the Jiangsu-ASEAN Traditional Medicine Talent Training Base also took place during the forum.
