The Lancang-Mekong Cooperation (LMC) Aviation Training Course will help train 52 professionals from Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam in civil aviation specialties, including air traffic control, flight dispatch and aircraft maintenance.

The training course, which is offered by Civil Aviation Flight University of China (CAFUC), will last for two months, from mid-October to mid-December. A total of 56 top teachers will teach participants civil aviation theories and practices in English.

The course moved online due to the ongoing effects of COVID-19. Speaking about the change, Tang Qingru, the vice president of CAFUC, said,"Trainees can obtain professional knowledge of the same if not greater quality as they would from offline teaching."

CAFUC has cultivated numerous civil aviation talents of various specialties for many countries along the Belt and Road, achieving good results and reputation in the field of international civil aviation training.

Promoting international cooperation paves the way for CAFUC to become a world-class flight university.

Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam look forward to setting up a long-term cooperation mechanism with China, accelerating the development of aviation industries, and reserving more professional pilots.
