The Chongqing Municipal People's Government held a ceremony on Aug.13, marking the commencement of the transportation of anti-epidemic materials which it donated to Myanmar.
The essential medical supplies include oxygen machines, surgical masks, and protective clothing.
The Chongqing government said the donations show the Chongqing people’s profound friendship with and goodwill to the people of Myanmar, as well as demonstrate the spirit of the China-Myanmar community with a shared future.
Chongqing, located along China’s new western land-sea transport corridor, is making full use of cross-border highway transportation to contribute to China-ASEAN economic and trade and anti-epidemic cooperation.
