On Sept. 11, 2017, the Joint Working Group on Agriculture convened its first meeting in Nanning, south China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, marking the official establishment of the joint working group. By then, the joint working groups in six priority areas identified at the first Lancang-Mekong Cooperation Leaders' Meeting had all been established and put into operation.
