1) The First LMC Diplomatic Joint Working Group Meeting
The First LMC Diplomatic Joint Working Group Meeting was held in Bangkok, Thailand on July 23, 2015. Representatives from the six countries negotiated on the LMC concept papers and made preparation for the Second Senior Officials' Meeting and the First Foreign Ministers' Meeting.
2) The Second LMC Diplomatic Joint Working Group Meeting
The Second LMC Diplomatic Joint Working Group Meeting was held in Kunming, Yunnan on January 29, 2016. Arrangement for the Leaders' Meeting and for the achievements were preliminarily discussed at the meeting.
3) The Third LMC Diplomatic Joint Working Group Meeting
The Third LMC Diplomatic Joint Working Group Meeting and the Third Senior Officials' Meeting were held in Sanya, Hainan province. Officials exchanged views on the outcomes of the First Leaders' Meeting and on the preparation for the upcoming Leaders' Meeting.
4) The Fourth LMC Diplomatic Joint Working Group Meeting
The Fourth LMC Diplomatic Joint Working Group Meeting was held on November 9-11, 2016. Officials exchanged views on the implementation of the outcomes of the First Leaders' Meeting, on the follow-up events, and on the preparation for the Second Foreign Ministers' Meeting and for the Fourth Senior Officials’ Meeting.
5) The Fifth LMC Diplomatic Joint Working Group Meeting
The Fifth LMC Diplomatic Joint Working Group Meeting and the Second Foreign Ministers' Meeting were held on 22-23 December 2016. At the Second Foreign Ministers' Meeting, the Ministers reviewed the implementation of the outcomes of the First LMC Leaders' Meeting and exchanged views on the future development of the LMC mechanism. They endorsed the Joint Press Communiqué of the Second LMC Foreign Ministers' Meeting, the Matrix of Follow-ups to the Outcomes of the First LMC Leaders' Meeting and the General Principles for the Establishment of Joint Working Groups on LMC Key Priority Areas.
6)The Sixth LMC Diplomatic Joint Working Group Meeting
On September 29, 2017, the Sixth Lancang-Mekong Cooperation Diplomatic Joint Working Group Meeting was held in Dali Bai autonomous prefecture, Yunnan province of China. Officials and representatives of China, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam discussed on the 3rd Lancang-Mekong Cooperation (LMC) Foreign Ministers’ Meeting.
