On Dec. 15, 2017, the 3rd Lancang-Mekong Cooperation (LMC) Foreign Ministers' Meeting was held in Dali, Yunnan Province. Foreign Minister Wang Yi, Secretary of State and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Prak Sokhonn of Cambodia, Foreign Minister Don Pramudwinai of Thailand, Foreign Minister Saleumxay Kommasith of the Laos, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs U Kyaw Tin of Myanmar and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh of Vietnam attended the meeting.
All parties reviewed the progress made in the LMC, mapped out plans for the work in the next stage and made full preparation for the Second LMC Leaders' Meeting.
The meeting has issued a "Joint Press Communiqué of the 3rd LMC Foreign Ministers' Meeting" and announced the "List of the First Batch of Projects of LMC Special Fund". The meeting also announced to establish the Hotline Platform of LMC National Secretariats/Coordination Units and handed out the "Matrix of Follow-ups to the Outcomes of the First LMC Leaders' Meeting and the Second Foreign Ministers' Meeting".
