A direct chartered flight linking Wutaishan, North China’s Shanxi province and Bangkok, Thailand was launched. A chartered flight fully loaded with 155 passengers took off smoothly from Xinzhou Wutaishan Airport at 22:30 on January 3.
The flight, operated by China Eastern Airlines, uses Airbus A320 and runs every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The outbound flight number is MU9765, departing from Xinzhou Wutaishan Airport at 21:30(UTC+8), arriving at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport at 1:20(UTC+7); the return flight number is MU9766, departing from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport at 2:20(UTC+7), arriving at Xinzhou Wutaishan Airport at 8:20 (UTC+8).

As the airport is located in Xinzhou, Shanxi, the launch of the new route provides tourists in Xinzhou and surrounding areas with more convenient and diverse travelling options to Bangkok.
