On that day, a ceremony was held for the "care parcels" donation in Takeo Province. Kem Roat Viseth, Chairman of the Board of Civil Society Alliance Forum (CSAF), Ouch Phea, Governor of Takeo Province, Wang Xingzui, Executive Vice Chairman of CFPA, Zhang Yaowu, head of the China Foundation for Peace and Development Cambodian branch, and officials of Takeo provincial government and the Ministry of Education attended the ceremony.

At the ceremony, Wang Xingzui handed over the donation plaque of the third batch of “care parcels” in 2019 to Kem Roat Viseth. Wang said that "care parcels" expressed the friendship from China and he hoped that the children would study hard and attend university.

Kem Roat Viseth acknowledged CFPA for its assistance to Cambodia. He said that CSAF, together with CFPA, would be more deep-rooted in the work to provide practical help to the local people and promote mutual understanding between people from the two countries.

It was reported that after elaborate cooperation with Cambodian partners, the "care parcels" project was officially launched in Phnom Penh in May 2019. By August 2019, the project staff of CFPA had visited 100 poor primary schools in 17 provinces of Cambodia, sending the first two batches of 30,000 “care parcels” to Cambodian children.
