Direct flight launched between China’s Enshi and Thailand

At 19:35 on Dec.17, 2019, an A320 airplane carrying 179 passengers took off from Enshi, Hubei Province for Pattaya, a seascape resort in Thailand, marking the third international route launched in Enshi in the past three months.

Starting from Dec.17, the Enshi-Pattaya flight, operated by Thai VietJet Airlines with flight number VZ3508 / VZ3509, runs every Tuesday.

It takes off at 14:05 (UTC+7) from Pattaya’s U-Tapao Airport and lands at Enshi Xujiaping Airport at 18:35 (UTC+8), while as for the flight from Enshi to Pattaya, the plane departs at 19:35 (UTC+8) and arrives at 22:15 (UTC+7).

On Oct.20, the Enshi-Cambodia (Siem Reap) international route was officially opened; on Nov.19, the National Office of Port Administration approved the extension of the temporary opening time of Enshi Air Port to Jun.29, 2020; on Nov. 21, the international flight connecting Enshi and Vietnam (Da Nang) was officially launched.

According to statistics from Enshi Port, occupancy rates of the Enshi-Cambodia (Siem Reap) and Enshi-Vietnam (Da Nang) flights have remained above 95% since their respective opening.
