The 2019 Lancang-Mekong Cooperation Expo (LMCE) will be held from Nov. 21 to 25 in Kunming, the capital of southwest China’s Yunnan Province, according to Yunnan Economic Daily.

The expo consists of an exhibition and a forum. About 18 countries in the Lancang-Mekong region will take part in the exhibition which covers an area of 40,000 square meters and various fields of investment, trade, cross-border employment, cultural tourism and local products of countries in the region.

This year’s expo will be highlighted by a Southeast and South Asia working festival on the exchanges of talents from different countries, cross-border entrepreneurship and employment as well as cultivation of talents. It will be the first LMCE to provide such an exchange platform for international talents.

According to estimates, more than 1,000 enterprises, 60 colleges and universities, as well as more than 50,000 talents from home and abroad will attend the expo, and more than 10,000 job opportunities will be announced during the activity.
