BEIJING, May 31 (Xinhua) -- Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Prak Sokhonn here on Friday.

Wang said the signing of a China-Cambodia action plan for the building of a community with a shared future had indicated the direction for the development of bilateral relations.

China stands ready to work with Cambodia to implement the major consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, and promote the joint building of the Belt and Road, Wang said.

China is also willing to work with Cambodia and other ASEAN countries to maintain multilateralism and support free trade, he added.

Prak Sokhonn, who is paying an official visit to China from May 30 to June 1, said Cambodia is willing to work with China to push the two countries' comprehensive strategic partnership of cooperation to a new level.
